3 cups Chickpeas, soaked overnight for 8 hours
Washed fenugreek leaves 4 cups
Ghee 2 tbsp
cumin 2 tsp
bay leaf 2
chopped onions 4
chopped green chili 2
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Chili powder 2 tsp
Garam masala 1 tsp
Coriander powder 2 tsp
Tomato chopped 4
Chole Methi Recipe
First of all, soaked chickpeas should be cooked in a pressure cooker for 7 to 8 whistles. Cook it and keep it aside. Now take a pan and put ghee in it. After this, add cumin, bay leaf, garlic, ginger, green chillies and chopped onions. Add salt, turmeric powder and tomatoes to it and mix it and cook on medium heat for some time. Now after this add fenugreek leaves to it. Then add red chili powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder and coriander powder. Fry for some time on low flame.
